FreeBOOKstore was launched on June 21, 2025 as a part of Free Store 15104. Completely volunteer-run, the BOOKstore operates alongside the Free Store at 420 Braddock Ave. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Spotlighting generous donations of literature on behalf of generous contributors and partners (FedEx), the freeBOOKstore promotes educational development with no-cost literary accessibility and cognitive expansion.

We believe reading is crucial for individual growth and societal development. It enhances cognitive abilities, expands knowledge, improves communication skills, and fosters empathy.
