The Fairy Fund:
$250 Gifts for Local Residents

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible donors, we are excited to offer the For Good Fairy Fund, a program designed specifically to support the immediate needs of local residents!

WHAT IS THE FAIRY FUND?

In 2021, the vast majority of applicant need was for groceries and other basics, and assistance with utility bills. In order to streamline our process so that we can distribute even more awards in 2022, moving forward, Fairy Fund applicants will be asked their need, and then asked to select from the following options:

  • Giant Eagle Gift Card (groceries and gas) or

  • Duquesne Light or

  • People’s Natural Gas credit that will go directly to their electric or natural gas accounts.

A total of six awards valued at $250 will be made through these channels each month.
