Kristen Michaels

From 9-5, Kristen Michaels, a Pittsburgh native, serves as the Executive Director of the Congress of Neighboring Communities (CONNECT), where she works to bring elected and appointed officials from the City of Pittsburgh and its 40 neighboring municipalities together to collaborate on common policy issues. She moonlights as the co-founder of For Good PGH, a non-profit that works to advocate inclusion and inspire kindness through its own unique initiatives and by facilitating partnerships.  Kristen is co-founder of Free Store Wilkinsburg, in Wilkinsburg, PA that serves neighbors in need, and is a freelance writer. Earlier in her career, she held management positions in marketing and public relations. Kristen was recently named one of The Incline’s under 40 Community Leaders. She's a proud mother of two daughters, two dogs, and a guinea pig named Fluffy Puppy.
